When we were doing some testing for AuthAnvil 3.5, we ran into an interesting issue. Since at least AuthAnvil 2.1, aabackup.exe has not been properly backing up proxied users. If you are planning to upgrade when we release AuthAnvil 3.5 later this week, and you use proxied users, run this version of aabackup.exe to create a bup file before you do the upgrade to make sure that you have a complete database backup.
For those of you who don’t use proxied users, you have nothing to worry about, the version of aabackup.exe that you have will backup all of the information that you need.
