IT Nation is just around the corner. Are you ready for it? 1,500 of the best IT Service Providers from around the globe will all be congregating in one place to learn about the industry and network with peers.
All your colleagues and competitors… in one place. What a target rich opportunity if you have mischievous or malicious intent.
At several conferences now I have demonstrated how easy it is to intercept WIFI and Bluetooth signals. From conducting man-in-the-middle attacks (MITM) to collect login credentials of Kaseya administrators to recording conversations taking place through open Bluetooth headsets, you would think at IT conferences this would be rather difficult; it’s not. Below is a snippet from my presentation at Kaseya Connect 2012 where I captured dozens of sessions while I was on stage.
I’ve been asked by several C-level executives at larger MSPs just what they could do about it. Instead of individually answering them I thought it would be useful to share that information with everyone who was going to IT Nation. So I gave that information to my team at Scorpion Software and they turned that guidance into a free eBook.
You can download “A Practical Guide to Keeping Secure at IT Nation” here.
See you at IT Nation next week. You can find our team at booth #504. I’ll be there during the busy times conducting demos for anyone who wants one. And no, I will NOT hack your competitor for you. So don’t ask.
Enjoy the eBook!
