The problem with strong passwords is the user can not remember them then they end up writing them down so it defeats the purpose

Can't deny that the more complicated you make it the harder it can be to manage. We have several posts in the last month that talk about password complexity and inefficiency. However, this is exactly where where you would use a password manager Mike. Many personal ones can handle most of this.
